I presented a proposal regarding Instagram, how it is used in business, why it would be beneficial, and how Kirkegaard would be able to measure its success through our competitors' use of the platform. The proposal was approved by the partners of the firm and led to my creation of the Kirkegaard's business Instagram account. I followed the secondary color scheme of the company. A piece of every post would have the color system on it so that colors move in a diagonal order in order to keep a variety of content cohesive and express the firm's branding.
During my internship with Kirkegaard, to expand my knowledge of social media marketing, I began to research competitors' analytics. At the time, the company only had a LinkedIn account. Through my research, I found there was success with increased impressions and engagements in consumer relations with more effectively and consistently connections through Instagram.
The creation of social media graphics on Adobe Illustrator and Indesign and choosing when to schedule them during opportune times became my responsibility. During the year I was in charge of both accounts for the company, we were able to gain 78 followers on Instagram and increase our LinkedIn following by 250 users.
